Hi, I’ve just downloaded the plugin and I’m a bit lost. The only documentation that I could find about this plugin is a list of functions, actions and filters. I’m not a programer and I’m trying to learn as much CSS and Php possible but to me this documentation is frightening, I don’t know what to do with it :(

I was wondering if you could have some documentation at a more basic level. I could not even find a list of shortcodes to input… I’m sure I’m missing something, probably obvious to you, but to me it’s very frustrating when you don’t know what to do or where to look…

So I guess my request would be better documentation for people that are not programmers ?

Yeah, I totally agree with you :) It should be better for all the users, not only comfortable WP developers.

But we’re having one serious problem here: time. Maybe we’ll try to ask the community to help us here as simply 24 hours are not enough to work on business projects, develop new plugins and features, provide support on 2 forums (this and WordPress based) and write extensive documentation.

Your suggestions are really accurate, especially as there is a very large Events Maker update on the way – what should be described and documented too. I just can’t tell you when we’ll be able to work on it.

Hey, I understand the time crunch. Thanks for answering and maybe when I get to know the plugin better, I can help a bit…

@3cats, you could help even now.

If you just wrote what kind of information would you like to see in the docs and is not there. What questions you have in mind when you started working on with Events Maker. This might be helpful as well, because we’ll know what’s important at that stage.
