  1. hello,i loved your plugin, but pretty photo runs too slow on my website and when i use SWIPEBOX ,it doesnt show caption and image description…how can i add image description and caption to it??please help

    • Have you found a solution to this yet?
      Thanks. Would really appreciate assistance.

      • This is not an issue. It’s just a feature of the plugin to use link titles. However we’ll probably try add an option in the future update to help you out (but we’re not sure yet if that can be done reliably).

  2. Hi guys, love that plugin. But I want to add social share buttons (fb, twitter etc.) how to I add it on it? Thanks.

    • Just switch to prettyPhoto script. If you selected SwipeBox (default) it’s not available.

      • prettyPhoto is not responsive though – is there a solution?

      • Yes. If you don’t find it responsive there are 3 others to choose from (included with the plugin as well).

  4. Great plugin! Working flawlessly for my website.
Keep up the good work guys…

  5. As far as I know, not. But you may try switching to prettyPhoto script in modal mode and applying rel=”lightbox” to a link manually in your theme.

    • That did the trick… thanks!

  6. Is there a way to view html – external pages within this lightbox? I tried appending ?iframe=true to the URL, but it doesn’t display correctly. Any help would be much appreciated.

  7. Just trying out these comments :)

    • It refreshes page while posting comment :(

      • Yes, it does and it’s an intended solution :)

  8. your plugin is great and nearly on the way to replace easy fancybox…
will you also implement a “modal-box” and/or “iframe” option? that’s the only thing i am missing…

    • Thanks Chris.

Modal option is available if you select prettyPhoto as your preffered script. We also thought of including Fancybox but unfortunatelly it’s newer (and better) versions are licensed under Creative Commons, so it’s not possible to use it in a free WordPress plugin available in WP repository.

  9. Great WP Plugin!

Question – I am getting duplicate lightbox images in my gallery per each instance. Any idea why this is happening?

    • Are you using a Debug Bar plugin?

      • I am using DeBug and the JS is coming back clean. Here is a link:

Click on any 1 of the 3 images.

I am wondering if the JS is duplicating somewhere, or if it is based on how I am using the ‘a’ tag…

      • I figured it out – I was using a custom css image hover effect and had to rearrange the span tags that are used to hide and display the hover.

  10. hello there! luv the plugin, but do I need to manually add rel to all images? when i use in my blog, i dont see the arrows for previous or next…is there anything i need to manually do to make it scroll through images in a post? thanks!

    • It’s an upcoming feature.

  • 14 plugins, 1 870 243 downloads and more to come. Interested?
